WAY PUBLIC LIBRARY IN PERRYSBURG, 101 E. Indiana St.: “An Artist Life,” a retrospect of Joanne Grossmann” The collection contains large scale oil paintings created by Joanne over the years as well as memorabilia of living in and around the Perrysburg area. Memoirs on display also her book published in 2001 named, “Letters from Camp” which documents the experiences of her father ( Floyd Thornton, former Mayor of Perrysburg) as an Army officer during WWI.
SAM B’S RESTAURANT DISPLAY- 163 S. Main Street in Bowling Green. Now showing: “Mesmerize & Harmonize” New collection of over 150 pc.. of fine art in all medias shows the whimsical work of Rose Letherby, Brooke Limpf, Mary Mascazine, and fiber artist Wendy Jenkins, in addition to 14 other seasoned artists. Open house Fri. July 10 7-9 p.m.
BOWLING GREEN COUNTRY CLUB, 923 Fairview Avenue, Bowling Green. New exhibit; “ Nature Fills Up Our Senses,” featuring the work of artists Susan Goslak, and Christine Deemer thru July of 2015. The public is welcome to attend a “meet the artists” night at the Bowling Green Country Club on Tuesday June 30, 2015. from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
STARBUCKS, LEVIS COMMONS, PERRYSBURG, “Unconventional Beauty,” features the work of PRIZM artist Brooke Limpf and will be on view through August 31st, 2015. The display includes Brooke's digital photography of animals, portraits, and landscapes. Of special interest is the fact that many of the images are captured from the beauty of our own Northwest Ohio environs. The display includes images taken at the Toledo Zoo, Sidecut Metropark, and The Collingwood arts center, among other locations.
